I have driven by this house in the past…I always feel so sorry for it.

  3. This is incredible, and incredibly beautiful- can you imagine living there? I think it would be a bit like living in Howl’s Moving Castle- magical.

  4. Awesome. Looks like a structure from a Tim Burton film.

  5. I wouldn’t have believed it was a real house, except that lyonsroar said s/he has driven past it. It does seem a very lonely house. What’s the story behind it, that’s what I’d like to know.

So cool! Looks like something out of the movie Lemony Snickets! Doesn’t seem like the best place to be in a storm though 😳

  8. Is it the same house from the movie Nights in Rodanthe based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks??

  10. My first reaction – is this for real? Second reaction – it is!

    Stunning house.

  11. My granny lived in a house just like this only in the middle of an apple orchard.
    Great shot…Magic!

  12. Yes I agree…completely magic! My idea of heaven, waiting for the tide to take me. All the images here are phenomenal but this creates dreams.
