Tilty Hill Residence, Thaxted, Essex, UK / 18th century Dutch barn conversion by British minimalist architect John Pawson. This tranquil barn represents one of Pawson’s most significant projects and is a hallmark for modern day minimalism. It is also available to rent at The Wow House Company.

  1. Certainly is minimal. Although I like the lines, it looks a bit cold.

  2. My general taste is not minimalist at all, but I’m intrigued by the idea that maybe it’s the inhabitants of such a space that bring warmth and personality to it; perhaps a minimalist environment is the perfect background to showcase people?

  3. I just love the name of the place; “Tilty Hill” fabulous!

  4. thank you for viewing the last entry to my blog…please read it from the beginning otherwise it wont make much sense as to why I am writing and posting it.

I have just had a good look through yours…its amazing!
