Photo series from the famous Pavilion of Spain at the Expo of Shanghai in 2010, designed by Benedetta Tagliabue / EMBT.

// The pavilion was a steel structure covered with twisted wicker panels. The wicker covers were woven by Spanish handcrafters in different patterns and different colors of wicker. The panels finally were covered by a special waterproofing material. They were also contributing to the thermal comfort of the pavilion taking into account the local climate.
